I want to encourage everyone to see themselves as makers and build, create and remake the world around them. How can we invite more young people to become makers?
The crabapple we planted three years ago has a healthy crop of fruit. The goal is to use them in making cider. Adding them to apples supposedly improves the flavor of cider, probably because crabapples are sour. They are also a good source of pectin, which is used in making jams and jellies.
