I have several types of Shasta Daisies in the yard. I got them originally at a plant sale at the Luther Burbank Gold Ridge Experimental Farm. Burbank created the Shasta Daisy — the details are here. There are many different varieties. The Alaska variety is tall, bright white and forms a full cluster. These daisies are in their third year, having been divided and spread around the side yard.
