A Day for Ducks

The first winter storm has arrived but it’s more like the kind of summer rain that doesn’t come here. It’s sixty degrees so the air is rather warm. I can’t say how much rain is falling because the rain gauge on the weather station doesn’t seem to be working. I messed around with it some, not seeing a specific reason it wasn’t working, except that it didn’t have to work for the last four months.

The ducks like the rain and the puddles it creates. This picture of them I took when it was sunny a few days ago. There is a drake and four females, all Rouen ducks. No eggs from them that I’ve found.
